TEXTURED TRADITIONS SOCKS

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, pick up sts

Pattern Description:

The traditional Scottish and Scandinavian
patterning created with simple knit and purl
stitches makes a richly textured sock. The cuff is
topped by a picot hem and features 1x1 ribbing.
Heel construction is the traditional flap & gusset
method.

Gauge:

8.5 sts = 1" over stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's Medium (Women's Large/Men's Medium)

Materials:

  • 300 (375) yards fingering or sock weight yarn Sample is knit with Lisa Souza Sock! natural/undyed, (75% wool, 25% nylon) 1 set US Size 1 (2.25) double point needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Suggested yarn:

375 yards of Fingering weight
