Pattern Description:

Texture Times Two is a hat and scarf set, suitable for Malabrigo Merino or your favorite worsted weight yarn. The pattern is fully reversible-the pattern on the other side is different, but just as attractive!

The hat and scarf are also available as separate patterns.


20 sts/27 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in Sunburst Wave pattern; 18 sts/26 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • SIZES: Hat: Small (Large); Scarf: One size
  • FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Hat: circumference is 19 (21.5) inches / 48.5 (54.5) cm; Scarf: Width: 7.5 inches (19 cm) Length: 60 inches (152.5 cm)


  • US #8 [5.0 mm] circular needle (or size required to achieve correct gauge), 16 or 20 inches long
  • A set of four or five US #8 [5.0 mm] double-pointed needles
  • Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% merino; 210yds/192m per 100g skein); color Purple Mystery; 3 skeins for both hat and scarf.
