A dual sided/reversible cowl, with different textures on opposing sides.
Works up quickly in the round, with the 'knit' side facing (no purling at all, a joy for those who hate to purl)
Adjustments can be made in width by adding (or subtracting) any multiple of 2 stitches at CO, likewise adjustments in height can be made by working more or fewer rounds.
Simple to knit lace stitch pattern. The stitch pattern chart/description seems complex but is truly very simple ~ once you've done a few reps it nearly knits itself!
Needs blocking for full effect.
Suggest using a yarn with a high natural fiber content - for blocking memory.

Gauge:

2 stitches per inch in pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • after block 31"circumference by 12" tall -before block 28" circ by 10" tall

Materials:

  • 132 yds of bulky yarn (I used Cascade Pastaza Paint)
  • US size 13 circular needle 16 -20"
  • stitch marker
  • row counter
  • darning needle

You Will Also Need:

  • blocking surface
  • T pins or blocking wires

Suggested yarn:

132 yards of Chunky weight
