Pattern Description:
The Sydney's are knit with a squishy superwash merino wool, and are destined to become the workhorses of your legwarmer collection. AN original cable and twisted columns add interest and define a nice vertical line. These are wonderful to wear under a loose pair of boots, with thinner socks underneath.
They're knit on a size #9 US needle, use about 460 yards of Aran weight wool, and are sized for women. For girls, you can use a smaller needle and slightly thinner yarn.
