I just love color work in knitting. Designing this hat was a personal challenge and I wanted to create one for each season. Hats and other accessories are quick and provide immediate enjoyment. This hat uses 10 different colors in the yellow to brown range. However, it has been done in a number of different color combinations and is therefore a wonderful way to de-stash.
I have tried to provide enough information that even the beginner to stranded work can enjoy knitting this tam.
7.5 stitches per inch worked on size 3 (3.25mm) needles.
Typically, I personally have to go up one needle size to obtain gauge - doesn't matter what pattern I do, but that is just me.

My life is currently hijacked by caregiving for my father. I used to be found mucking about with my horse, gardening, hanging with my dog, Nana or playing with fiber - the kind you knit not the kind you eat. Now, I am trying to learn the value of patience.
