  • knit and purl with one color in one round

Pattern Description:

I love stripes and so I made this little cute beanie pattern. I used it to knit 2 hats for the breast cancer charity project and also knitted a beanie in blue and white for my pregnant work collegue who loved it on the spot!

I used 4-ply Acrylic yarn. But you can also use 4-ply sock yarn or Merino yarn of similar weight.

So here it is. Enjoy this simple and easy to knit pattern.

Knitting gauge: 6 stitches and 7 rows in 2 x 2 cm

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This hat fits size XXS (about 32 " 34 cm head circumreference), XS (about 37 - 39 cm head circumreference), S (about 39 " 41 cm head cirumreference) /M (about 42 " 44 cm head circumreference).


  • 1 set of double pointed needles 3.00 mm (5, preferably 20 cm in length )
  • 4 " ply yarn (sock yarn, Merino or Acrylic yarn) 20 g of each of the two colors

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

Suggested yarn:

214 yards of Fingering weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Acrylic yarn Wollbutt Versailles


2 different colors that go well together (e.g. blue and white)
