Pattern Description:

This is a sweet, newborn hat, for pictures, a new baby gift, or just to keep that little head warm! In a super soft, washable, cotton, this little cap is perfect, for the season!

The pattern is made with a pom pom, but looks very sweet with a flower clip, instead, if desired! This would also be sweet, in your team colors!

Please use under direct adult supervision.

Gauge:

Original Gauge of Yarn: 4.5-5 sts=1" on #6-9 Needles
Gauge of pattern, in stockinette stitch: 5 sts=1", on Size 7 Needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Newborn (11 1/2"-17 1/2" circumference, about 11 1/2" tall, from rim to top)
  • 3-6 Months (14 1/2 "-18 1/2 " circumference, about 12 1/2", from rim to top)
  • 6-12 Months (14 1/2 "-18 1/2 " circumference, about 13 1/2" from rim to top)

Materials:

  • 1 Skein, 50 grams, 109 Yards, Knitpicks Comfy Worsted, each, in colors of choice

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 Set, Size 7, Double Pointed Needles
  • 1 Tapestry Needle
  • Stitch Marker, if desired
