Pattern Description:
I knitted this baby cocoon and hat for my daughter's kindergarten teacher. She expected her first baby last year. I asked my daughter to take the gift to surprise her at school and she loved it.
Gauge:
4.75-5 sts per inch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- hat - size 19" and 6" in height
- cocoon - 23" circumference X 19" long
- to fit newborn and infant up to 3- 4 months or more
Materials:
- 2 balls of worsted weight yarn in A color, and another ball of color B
- US # 8 stright needle
- 20-inches circular needle #8
You Will Also Need:
- tapestry needle
- row counter
- row marker
