Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, Read Chart. Basic colorwork

Pattern Description:

Like my Think Spring hat and project bag, Step into Spring socks are a garden bursting with new life. Light beads and purled hyacinths add texture that make the garden come alive. You can almost hear the bees buzzing about! I designed this pattern for my Ravelry group's mystery kal for March. Thank you to all who participated. We had so much fun, we're doing another for April! NOTE: You might want to drop a needle size when knitting the non-stranded portions of the sock.


32 sts and 32 rnds = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adult or Teen


  • : 2 balls of KnitPicks Palette: Limeade Heather, and 1 ball each of KnitPicks Palette Clover, Tomato, Celestial, Canary , and French Lavender. One long circular needle, two circular needles, or 5 DPNs, size#3 or whatever size gives you the correct gauge working in the round; two stitch markers; tapestry needle; 6 mm beads and small crochet hook for attaching them; Wooly thread for reinforcing heel and toe stit ches

You Will Also Need:

  • You might want to drop a needle size when knitting the non-stranded portions of the sock.
