Pattern Description:

This shawl was inspired by the night skies over Alaska. Constellations are scattered through the deep blue stockinette section, catching the light as you move. They shine on the snow flurries lace pattern which transitions into graceful points of light at the edging. Wear it and show Cassiopeia who the real beauty is!


20 sts and 36 rows = 4"
over stockinette stitched, blocked

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 88" (224cm) measured at the outside edge, 15" (38cm) deep, blocked


  • US size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle
  • Approximately 11g size 6/0 clear silver lined seed beads
  • Size 11 or 12 (1.1mm or 1mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
