My grand-ma taught me knitting when I was 10, but as I was a very good student, I became too good for her. Then, when I was in hight school, I took classes to the LYS. It was not in fashion to knit at that time and pattern were old fashion style. I'm so happy that it's now in fashion and that internet is just wave of freshnss for this craft! I have a fashion degree and creating is just natural for me. I'am very happy, because my job in now completly dedicated to designing for A la maille suivante(my business), online and print magazines and teaching knitting at my LYS, Tricotine et cieView all patterns by designer (29) »
Starcap is my first written design. I was knitting and designing for myself, but never published. This design had an unexpected success and I'm very proud of it. Since I have a fashion design diploma, this really encourage me to continue in this way; creating. My friend gave me this kaki merino hank since she knew I was a green lover. I was looking for cap hat pattern and could not find one I love. I decided to create mine. Here it is. enjoy!
