My fiber adventures began several years ago when my friend and neighbor Mrs. Shelton taught me how to crochet. Of course I could not handle the teeny-tiny hook and thread she worked, but her enthusiasm was infectious so I persisted and could feel something special beginning to take root. This love affair with the hook soon led me to the needles and a serious love of knitting - especially socks, they rule my world!View all patterns by designer (7) »
Squigglez is a sock with traveling in mind that can be worked three ways; two with unusual gusset treatments and one with a traditional heel and gusset. Original style features offset traveling columns, while the Alternative version offers an unusual gusset plus synchronized traveling columns, and finally K.I.S.S. (keeping it simple squigglez) which has synchronized traveling columns and a traditional gusset and heel.
Squigglez is also a sock with a purpose - fifty cents from the sale of each pattern will go to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital's area of most urgent need. So not only do you get to knit a fun sock you're also helping bring some smiles and comfort to the kids at Le Bonheur!
