Pattern Description:

This pattern is for an adorable, very soft and comfortable hat for a girl. The pattern is available in two sizes: 3-6 months and 3-6 years.

I used Bernat Bamboo for this hat and I loved the feel and look of this yarn.

The lower part of the hat is made sideways.

Finished Measurements:

Hat Circumference: 14" (18")
Hat Depth: 6.5" (7.75") (with unfolded border)

The hat is made on straight needles and has a seam at the back.

Gauge:

3.75 sts per 1" in stockinette stitch on U.S. #9 needles

3-6 months, 3-6 years

Materials:

* 1 ball of Bernat Bamboo (86% viscose from bamboo, 12% acrylic, 2% polyester) in color Wicker (92011)
* 1 ball of Bernat Bamboo (86% viscose from bamboo, 12% acrylic, 2% polyester) in color Lotus (92420)
or any other bulky #5 yarn
* U.S. #9 (5.5mm) straight needles
* 4 mm crochet hook
* a tapestry needle

You Will Also Need:

* a few matching beads for the flower ( I used Beader's Paradise 6/0 Czech glass crown jewels in Roses and Diamond)
