Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • purl
  • k2tog= knit two stitches together
  • Knit in the round with circular needles.

Pattern Description:

This unique cowl is knit from the bottom up on circular needles resulting in a seamless piece.

It features a split seed stitch edge and Garter stitch panel. Any Aran or Worsted weight yarn can be used to make this cowl.

Gauge:

20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished cowl measures approximately 30" around x 7" in height

Materials:

  • 138 yards of Worsted or Aran weight yarn
  • Size 8, 16 inch circular needles
  • Stitch marker

Suggested yarn:

138 yards of Worsted weight
