Pattern Description:

Solis is a pair of elegant yet simple fingerless mitts made using fingering weight yarn. Designed to coordinate with the Aestas beret, these mitts are perfect for fall or spring or even chilly summer nights. The pattern includes both a long and short cuff version.

(Solis means "of the sun" in Latin.)

Gauge:

7.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adjustable circumference
  • Choice of long or short cuff

Materials:

  • 100-200 yards of fingering weight yarn
  • US 3/ 3.25mm DPNs
  • Cable needle or extra DPN
  • Darning needle

Suggested yarn:

175 yards of Fingering weight
