Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, basic lace stitches
  • knitting chart reading (pattern is charted only)

Pattern Description:

The shawl is named for my friend, Jenni. She loves to knit lace shawls, especially ones with allover lace patterns. This one I can see her whipping this up in no time!

The shawl starts at the top center and is worked outward. The shawl is knit following two charts, one for the body of the shawl and one for the lace edging. All the action happens on the right side of the shawl, the wrong side only contains knits and purls.

Note: This pattern is knit following charts.

Gauge:

22 sts and 28 rows=4" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 56" wide and 25" long at center points, after blocking

Materials:

  • Needle - US 4 - 3.5 mm
  • 440 yards (402 m) Fingering weight yarn
