Pattern Description:

I made this beanie as christmas gift for my best friend Doris and I'll hope she likes it.
It has a two colored ribbing and a nice little snowflakes peerie around a band of big snow crystals.
At the top are tiny and a big snowflake.

As the beanie has two colors throughout the whole hat it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.
As it is therefore quick to knit, it is also a nice last minute christmas gift.

You can use any 4-ply sock yarn leftovers, Acrylic or similar yarn.

Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows in stranded knitting.

This beanie comes in two sizes
This beanie fits size S and M. (53 - 58 cm head circumreference)

Materials:

about 40 g of off-white 4-ply sock yarn, 40 g of blue 4-ply sock yarn (yardage about 210m/50g) or simlar acrylic yarn
Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm and 5 double pointed needles size 3.00 mm for the top of the head.

tapestry needle to weave in the ends

230 yards of Fingering weight
