Being a rabid Noro-lover, I wanted use their fabulous long color runs in a different way. This hat uses a DK weight background color and Silk Garden Lite to achieve these beautiful results.
Beginning at the brim with the Chinese Waitress Cast-On you'll jump right into simple color work, then on to a Lateral Braid. There are simple increases, as well as single and double decreases, and you'll finish off with the super-fun I-cord donuts.

Pattern uses from 165 - 200 yds of solid main color and about 75 yds of contrast color.
