The Slouchie Cherry Beret looks really great. If you want to knit a hat that someone young will love, this is the pattern for you. It is also really comfortable to wear, and cosy.
It looks really cool, but is also simple to knit. No complicated knitting in the round. It is knitted on two needles, and in just one piece. It has just one short seam to sew.
I have decorated mine with cherries (which are not included in the pattern). If you want to make one like mine I have included in the pattern where you can find some free cherry patterns - but you might prefer to customise your hat with a flower, or tassel. Whatever you do, you will have a great hat.

I have always liked making things, and although I have been knitting a lot recently, I also like sewing and other crafts.
I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school, and have partly got back into making things because my children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
