Married, mother of 3 boys. I have been crocheting, knitting and sewing for over 25 years. I love to be creative and design new patterns. I make most of my own clothing and have 3 sewing machines and a dedicated craft/sewing room. I also have an etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/KimberleesKorner

I designed this cowl beacuse I wanted something that fit close to the neck to keep you warm. I also used the Homespun yarn by Lion because it is a yarn I really like and it is so soft and warm.
This cowl would be an advanced beginner knitting project. It knits up quickly on size US 11 circular needles and can easily be made in a day or two. It is also a 1 skein project that is knit in the round so there is no seaming. You will need to know how to join and knit in the round to make this cowl. You also need to know how to knit, purl, and slip stitch knitwise.
The pattern is a 2 row repeat. I have given instructions for the wider pink version that is 11 in. wide and the blue version that is 9 in. wide. Both cowls are approx. 24 inches around and slide over the head very easily.
You may sell your finished items made from my pattern.
