Slip Cable Neckwarmer or Scarf

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit
  • Purl

Pattern Description:

Scarflettes are a quick knit and make fun gifts. They are great for cold weather to keep necks toasty warm without the bulk of a long scarf.

The pattern consists of 4 repeating rows and it is recommended that you keep track of each row by using a row counter.

Sizing can be altered by using different weight yarn and changing the size of the knitting needles. Following the pattern below will create a scarflette that measures approximately 5.5 inches wide and 20 inches long.

This pattern can also be modified to make a full length scarf; simply continue to knit to desired length and do not add buttons. Be sure to purchase extra yarn (3-4 times more will be needed)

  • Size 10.5 US Knitting Needles
  • 1 Cable Holder or Double Pointed Needle
