Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in the round

Pattern Description:

This set includes 2 skier beanies I have made for the winter Olympics.
Compared to buying the patterns individually you save about an Euro.


Knitting gauge in stranded pattern: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows (2 x 2 cm: 6 stitches and 7

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 52 - 55 cm head circumreference(downhill skier), 53 to 58 cm head circumreference (nordic skier)


  • 4-ply sock, Acrylic or -Merino yarn about 70 g in white, 35 g in red and 35 g in blue
  • Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends
  • Skier knitting fun

Suggested yarn:

214 yards of Fingering weight
