Siuslaw is a top down triangular shawl with plenty of options for customization. Directions are included for an all over lace shawl, or for a lace edged shawl with a stockinette body. The stockinette version has a single lace motif on the edges, which creates an attractive lace panel across the top edge.
Each pattern is only 6 rows, and they may be repeated as many times as you like, allowing you to easily adjust the final size as well as the stockinette to lace ratio.
This design would also work well in lace weight, sport, dk, or even worsted, just be sure to adjust your needle size and yardage.
Pattern includes both charts and written directions, and includes schematics illustrating top down triangular shawl construction and garter tab cast on.

I'm a third generation knitter, but only really picked it up in the last 5 years or so. I've been designing for almost 2 years now, and I love it.
