Hi - I'm relatively new to this site and a novice knitter, but excited to try this pattern. Does it require 150 yards total for this project or 150 yards per ball of yarn (thus using 300 yards total)?

Can I use this pattern with knitting needles sizes 8 or 9 and medium 4 yarn. The yarn makes 197 yards for one ball.

The great thing about scarf patterns is usually you can use any yarn with any size needles to knit it. I would try it out to see if it will be too wide. That might be the only issue and to make smaller you can cut out some of the repeats.
Good luck and Happy knitting!!

You say to start with a certain count of stitches then you do the * to finish with K and P finishing again with a certain stitch the count on the needles does not even out at the end. Please help

Hi Deborah, The last two stitches on the needle are 1 stitch from the repeat and the border stitch. The row states to end with p2 because the last stitch in the repeat is a purl and the last stitch in the row is a purl which would make it p2.

Hope this helps!

I had no trouble accessing this pattern. Add it to your cart, proceed to checkout, and then pattern will show up in "my patterns." Go to "my patterns" and download the pattern.

The big ornage button on the right side of the page that says "Add digital pattern to cart" is where you get the pattern link from. Add it to your shopping cart then check out your cart.
