A quick knit cowl that uses 1 skein or less! This design offers endless possibilities for wear: as a cowl, shoulder wrap, infinity, or even made longer and worn open as a scarf.
The stitch pattern is easy to memorize and results in a scarf so versatile you will wear it with everything from casual to dressy. Button it, pin it, seam it if you like, but know that you will make this several times in as many yarn weights.
Like its landmark namesake, Silver Falls Cowl has wonderful versatility across the seasons: linen and cotton blends for summer, all the way to bulkies for winter outerwear!
This cowl design pays tribute to Silver Falls State Park in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon where there is a 9 mile hiking trail that loops around and under 10 water falls.
Sample is shown in DK weight but this would also be marvelous in worsted or bulky.
