Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knitting in the round and on dpns, Colorwork/stranded knitting.

Pattern Description:

This is the coordinating hat to my" Sheep in the Meadow" Sweater. This hat is knit in the round and on dpns. The pattern is written and charted for colorwork. It knits up fast in worsted weight yarn and also uses a lt. bulky textured yarn giving the sheep dimension making them so cute and fluffy. Simple embrodiery stitches are used to finish the sheep details once the hat is complete. The hat can be made for both a girl or boy with a few yarn color changes noted in the pattern. This hat is great by itself or made with the matching sweater for a stunning set. The hat combines a number of different knitting techniques making it super fun to knit. Skill level is intermediate. A "must knit" for that special little someone!
