I've been doing all sorts of crafts for most of my life. I love the pattern and structure of mathematics and how mathematics is interwoven with design and nature. I am inspired by color. I think one of the reasons that I've always enjoyed art and design is that I enjoy thinking analytically and transferring that into an artistic interpretation.
I enjoy taking what I know and creating my own interpretation. I hope you enjoy knitting my patterns as much as I have enjoyed designing them.
My goal is to provide a clear and well-written pattern that includes all of the information that you need to get a great result. The project might be challenging but that should not include trying to figure out the pattern!

Honeycomb Brioche worked in the round in two colors creates an interesting mix of texture and color on both sides of the fabric. Both the cowl and the beret are written to be fully reversible so they can be worn either way.
The beret is loose fitting and slouchy, and gives a different look depending on which side of the fabric is shown.
For the cowl, switching the orientation as you knit results in a cowl that is shows both sides of the fabric and is fully reversible.
To assist those who are not familiar with brioche there are stitch diagrams in the pattern as well as explanatory text.
This pattern is both fully written and charted.
