Pattern Description:

Salix is the scientific name for willow trees, and textured lacy pattern of these top-down socks reminds me of these elegant trees. This pattern works up quickly and is written for two sizes (64-st and 72-st sizes). This pattern includes both written and charted instructions.


8 x 11 over 1" in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 64- and 72-st sizes


  • Size 1.5 US needles
  • About 300-370 yards of fingering weight sock yarn
