Pattern Description:

This is a top-down pattern with shifting panels of different textures that really show off longer color change and tweedy/woolly yarns.

In case you're wondering about the name... I had a hard time coming up with a name for this one and I just kept thinking about the color and how a good friend of mine (an avid birder) calls this color "rufus" - and thus the name. :)

Gauge:

7.5 sts x 11 rows over 1" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 64-st size

Materials:

  • 1 skein fingering weight sock yarn (350+ yards)
  • US 2 needles
