Pattern Description:

This mini e-book contains two of my best-selling patterns for the beautiful Rolled Brim Hat with a Flower. The first pattern includes instructions for the sizes 6-9 months and 2-4 years, the second pattern provides instructions for the size adult.

This hat is made on straight needles and requires some basic sewing.

If you prefer to make it on circular needles, simply eliminate the first and last stitches of every row as they are for the seam.

Difficulty Level: beginner

Gauge:

Gauge:

~ 4 sts, ~ 5 rows per 1" on US #9 needles
~ 4.5 sts,~ 6 rows per 1" on US #7 needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6-9 months, 2-4 years , adult

Materials:

  • 1 ball of Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in Lamb or Taupe
  • or any other #4 medium worsted yarn ( 10ply)
  • a small amount of pink or red yarn for the flowers
  • US #7 (4.5mm) straight needles
  • US #9 (5.5mm) straight needles
  • 5mm crochet hook
  • a tapestry needle
  • (a) bead(s) ( for the flowers)
