Pattern Description:

These socks were designed as part of my Sock-a-Month 2014 challenge to myself.

They are named for a good friend of my baby sister who will be receiving these as a birthday present. Her birthday is in March and this yarn was specially dyed to represent the March Birthstone - Aquamarine.

*I prefer the ChiaoGoo brand of 9" circular for this
project as the cable as a great deal of flexibility

9stitches and 11 rounds = 1" in stockinette stitch


  • US Size 1 9" circular needle
  • US Size 1 double pointed needles (set of 4)
  • cable needle
  • darning needle
  • contrasting stitch markers (2)
