Gauge:
Gauge (after blocking):
18 sts x 36 rows in St st.
The gauge isn(tm)t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as required yardage of yarn.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Size: approx. 148 cm / 59.5 wide and 65 cm / 25.5 long at centre spine.
Materials:
- Recommended Yarns: 4 skeins of Garnstudio DROPS Alpaca, or 4 skeins of Garnstudio DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk, or approx. 660 meters / 730 yards of other sport weight / 5 ply yarn, or possibly fingering / 4 ply.
You Will Also Need:
- Needles: 3.75 mm / US 5 circular needle, at least 80 cm / 32 long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
- Other: tapestry needle, stitch markers.
Suggested yarn:
750 yards of Sport weight
