Pattern Description:
This hat features a lovely combination of vertical ribs and horizontal stripes.
It's a wonderful hat suitable for both males and females alike and a great one for even beginners to tackle.
The hat is knit flat and will need to be sewn up with a tapestry needle in the final step.
This pattern is better known as the Destination Hat. I decided to give it a more descriptive title here on Craftsy for search purposes.
Gauge:
4.5 stitches, 1 row per inch in stockinette stitch
on size 8 needles
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Hat fits most Adult head sizes from 20" to 24" due to the stretchiness of the ribbed fabric in the design
Materials:
- Size 8 straight knitting needles
- 200 yds of Worsted Weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios
- Tapestry needle
