Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Slip stitch with yarn back or front
  • knit, purl

Pattern Description:

Stripes and slipped stitch give this beautiful "plaid-like" side. Only looking at it makes me feel warmer. This is an easy pattern very accessible to beginners, as long as you can purl, knit and change color.

It's all about stripes and slipped stitches.

This looks well on lads, and you just need some assorted leftovers or, alternatively, treat yourself with some of our DK's or Aran's and pick your favourite colors.

I made this one with 4.00mm needles with leftovers, and the finished measures are 158x23 cm

Here is what I used:

Main Color (MC) : Here: Dark Grey = 100 gr

Contrasting Color 1 (CC1) : Orange = 50 gr

Contrasting Color 2 (CC2) : Blue = 50 gr

Contrasting Color 3 (CC3) : Light Grey = 50 gr

Gauge:

18 sts. X 20 rows = 10 cm with 4 mm needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 158 cm x 23 cm

Materials:

  • DK, 100 gr of a main color, 50 gr of 3 contrasting colors

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Leftovers
