Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit and purl
  • double knitting experience will be of advantage but is not required
  • double knitting in the round is required

Pattern Description:

Beaming with the stars! :)
I(tm)ve been dreaming of a reversible stardust cowl for quite some time and just got to finish it.
Love it!
You can also knit a headband/hair band from it.
It is double-knitted in the round.
The basics of double-knitting are also included in the pattern.

The best thing about it, if you like a color change, just turn it around ;-)

It(tm)s a quick knit, too. It took me 2 evenings to knit the kid(tm)s headband and 3 evenings to finish the cowl (biggest size).

7 sizes are included.
I used 4-ply Acrylic yarn but you can also knit it in Merino yarn of similar weight.

There is also the matching stardust beanie in Fair Isle technique available.

Many thanks to LISA MCFETRIDGE for the permission to link to her great video tutorial on the two color cast-on!

Merry christmas everybody!
