Pattern Description:

A Retro Style Baby Girl Hat in two tones with stylish front gathers and moss stitch bow.
Keep your little girl warm this winter with this adorable retro style bow hat!

This pattern comes in three sizes to fit babies 3,6 and 12 months.
Hat circumference is about 40,45,48 cm or 16,18,19 inches.
You will need knitting needles in 3mm or US2 as well as 50 g/75g main colour and 25 g contrast colour wool.
Team with the bow booties which are available as a separate pattern or buy the pattern as a set and save!
I used soft warm 3 ply pink and light pink baby yarn or other fingering weight wool.
This Instant Download Pattern is a flat pattern and easy to knit.


30 st and 42 rows make a 10 cm or 4" square using 3mm or US3 needles and stockinette st.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit 3,6,12 months hat 40,45,48 cm or 16 ,18,19 " circumference


  • 50 g (75 g for 12 months size)3 ply baby wool or other fingering weight wool
  • 25 g 3 ply baby wool or other fingering weight yarn in light pin
  • knitting needles size 3mm or US2.
  • Darning needle,large
