A Stashbuster! Resolution Mobius is the first in a series of stashbuster patterns, specifically designed for those odds and ends of gorgeous yarns that have accumulated over the years, extra skeins and balls from other projects, or irresistible purchases with no end use in mind.
2014 is my year to bust my own stash and perhaps help other knitters with theirs.
Resolution Mobius may be made as a mobius (as shown), an infinity loop (no twist), or a traditional scarf of any length.
The pattern may be easily adapted to any yarn and needle size, and includes instructions for doing so. As shown, Resolution Mobius measures 8" wide and 62" long and took just under one skein each of two colors of Lorna's Laces Haymarket (215 yards per skein).
The knit and purl stitch pattern features a 4-row repeat and is identical on both sides.
The pattern also includes instructions for finishing with a Kitchener stitch or a three-needle bind-off, and for carrying the yarn not in use up the side.
