Pattern Description:
"Replier" translates to fold down or to fold over in French which is
appropriate since this cowl is folded in on itself for a collar-like effect.
Barbara Walker's Smocking stitch is used to create a faux cable similar
to Honeycomb without the inconvenience of using a cable needle
Gauge:
18 sts and 28 rows = 4'' / 10 cm in St st
31 sts and 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Faux Honeycomb pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 11'' / 28 cm deep and 34" / 86.5 cm wide
Materials:
- US size 8 / 5.0 mm 24" or longer circular needle
You Will Also Need:
- Stitch markers, tapestry needle, 3 sets of 5/8" snaps, 2 sets of large hook & eye or clasp
