This pattern was written for Unplanned Peacock Studio's Fiber Club 2013. Last year's theme was Fairy tales. This pattern was inspired by the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood as she ventures on her journey to Grandma's house.
This pattern comes in 3 sizes and is available for 2 different weight yarns. (Worsted and Fingering)
If you received this as part of the fiber club, note that I have added notations about bind off and blocking:
**BIND OFF**: If you tend to bind off tightly, you may want to use the sewn off method* or bind off using a needle 2 sizes larger than the working needle.
**BLOCKING:** place hat in a bowl of cold water, squeeze out excess moisture, place hat on an inverted dinner plate. Allow to dry thoroughly.
This pattern is for your own personal use. Please do not sell this pattern or any finished object without express written consent of the designer.

Hello! My name is Jackie Murton. I am happily married to a wonderful man who happily feeds my yarn addiction. We have 3 great kids. I am currently learning to spin on both a spindle and an antique wheel a friend spotted for me at a craft show.
I began knitting and crocheting while on bed rest with my first child. I decided to start writing patterns when I found myself constantly changing written patterns so that I could knit them seamlessly (I don't like sewing seams :-D).
I design and write knitting patterns with a focus on 1 skein seamless and nearly seamless knits. Most of my patterns are beginner level. I will occasionally design more advanced patterns as well as some crochet patterns.
