A playful way to fend off winter's grip, these whimsical mitts are designed to be worn on either hand, with the raccoon face on the palm or back of the hand. A double layer of knitting in the face section offers added warmth for little fingers.

Worked in the round from cuff to fingertips, these mitts are a quick and satisfying little project that will surely please the animal lover in your house.

Gauge:

28 st and 38 rows = 4" on US 1 1/2 (2.5mm) double point needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 2 years to adult small
  • Hand circumference: 5 1/2" to 6 1/2"
  • Length from cuff to fingertips 5 3/4" to 9"

Materials:

  • Spud & Chloe Fine, fingering weight, approximately 225 yards
