Pattern Description:

I had so many leftovers of multicolor 4-ply sock yarn in my stack and liked to make something really nice of them.
As I really like playing around with colors, this "stash-buster" idea came into my mind.

They are easy and quick to knit and also make a great last minute gift.
Apart from the two colored ribbings there is only one color in one round.

Gauge:

Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 9 stitches and 10 rows

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

This mittens fit size S/M and even fit bigger hands.(11.5 cm width (front and back), 21 cm hand circumreference)

Materials:

35 g of self-striping or multicolored left-over 4-ply sock yarn. Best are rainbow colors
about 35 g of plain colored (e.g. dark red) left-over 4-ply sock yarn.

You Will Also Need:

5 double pointed needles size 2.75 mm (for normal sized hands) or 3.00 mm (bigger hands)
40 cm circular needle the same size (or some leftover yarn) for parking" the thumb stitches

Suggested yarn:

230 yards of Fingering weight
