Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stranded Knitting
  • Knit
  • Purl
  • Knit Increase
  • Knit Decrease

Pattern Description:

Ravenclaw pride is easy to display with this eye-catching mitt pattern.

Knit in navy and bronze, with a stranded center framing the strong and proud "R", they're a classy way to show where your loyalties lie.

This pattern is a little tricky, but is a good introduction to stranded knitting. Just make sure to leave plenty of give in the strands, to allow for stretching, and you should be just fine!


5 stiches and 6 rounds per inch (2.54cm)


  • 1 skein Vanna's Choice in Navy
  • 1 skein Vanna's Choice in Honey
  • 1 set of US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs
