Pattern Description:

Maine's state logo is "The Way Life Should Be"...and I happen to agree with that. We live a free, uncomplicated life up here by the Lake. I wanted to design a pair of fingerless mittens that could be worn by everyone, yet also could showcase some amazing yarns. The yarn pictured is an n-ply handspun I did in my second month of learning how to spin.


22sts=4'' in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • baby to adult


  • size 5 double pointed needles
  • 200 yards or less of sportweight or DK weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in ends
