Pattern Description:

This is a detailed written knitting pattern in pdf format for baby puppy dog booties. The pattern includes photos and row by row written instructions.

The booties are knit flat using two needles, with the ears knit separately and sewn on afterwards. The nose is added using duplicate stitch.

These cute accessories would look great on your little pup!

Suggested yarns:
100% wool DK or a wool/acrylic mix DK. I used Rowan Baby Merino Silk dk and Stylecraft Pure Luxury Merino dk from my stash, however you could use any alternative yarn that knits to the same tension/gauge.

Gauge:
24 sts and 32 rows to 10cm/4in using US3/3.25mm needles over st st.

Gauge:

24 stitches and 32 rows to 4in/10cm using US 3/3.25mm needles over st st after light steaming.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-3, 3-6, 6-12 months

Materials:

  • 25[35:45]g DK yarn in main colour
  • 10[15:20]g DK yarn in contrast colour

You Will Also Need:

  • US 3/3.25mm/No 10 knitting needles
  • 4 black knitting beads for eyes
  • Small crochet hook for adding beads
  • Tapestry needle for sewing seams and adding 'nose' in duplicate stitch
