This comfy and stylish cowl features rows of mock cables with decorative eyelets.
You don't have to use a separate cable needle. The design is also reversible so you get 2 cool looks from just one cowl.
This cowl can be made with any bulky yarn. I find that it shows off the pattern best as it really makes the eyelets in the cables stand out and makes it a quick knit to boot.
The cowl is knit flat and sewn up with a tapestry needle or crochet hook if the yarn is too thick.
3 stitches, 1 row per inch in stockinette stitch
100 yards of Bulky weight

I've been knitting and crocheting for about 25 years now and learned these crafts as a small child from my grandmother. My hands haven't been idle since. In addition to designing knitting and crochet patterns I run the Etsy shop MelsBellsHats.
