Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round
  • not take yourself too seriously ;-)

Pattern Description:

Seeing a crime movie this beanie came into existence
There was a piranha bar and I could not get the idea out of my head.

So here it is. Cute little dangerous piranhas on a beanie with bones and a corrugated ribbing.

It is completely knitted in 4-ply sock yarn but you can also use Acrylic yarn or Merino yarn of similar weight up to 5-ply.

This is my favorite beanie!
And not only mine. :)
It(tm)s fun to knit and to wear.
It looks great if you use neon colors.

There is also a matching T-shirt available at the moment only in Germany and Denmark at and Search for piranha.

I(tm)m still working on availability in the USA.

Enjoy and happy piranha knitting!
