Pattern Description:

Pine Woods fingerless gloves are sturdy, practical and easy to knit. A shaped thumb gusset means that these gloves are made to fit the hand naturally and comfortably, while the twisted rib cuffs keep you cozy and the gloves securely in place.

While our sample is knit in a rustic spruce green wool, these gloves/wrist warmers would look fantastic in your favorite neon colors as well.

Gauge:

4.5 stitches/6 rows per inch (2.5 cm) measured over a 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) stockinette stitch swatch.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One Size fits Women's Medium - Large [7" - 7.5" (17.8 cm - 19.1 cm) palm circumference]

Materials:

  • Allow approx 75 yds (69 m) worsted weight yarn. Sample gloves knit using 1 3.5 oz/100 gr ball of Patons Classic Wool (100% Pure New Wool) in Jade Heather.
  • US 7 (4.5mm) 7" (18 cm) double-pointed needles
  • US 8 (5 mm) 7" (18 cm) double-pointed needles
  • Tapestry/blunt yarn needle
  • Stitch markers (3) - 2 one color, 1 another color
