Pine Woods fingerless gloves are sturdy, practical and easy to knit. A shaped thumb gusset means that these gloves are made to fit the hand naturally and comfortably, while the twisted rib cuffs keep you cozy and the gloves securely in place.
While our sample is knit in a rustic spruce green wool, these gloves/wrist warmers would look fantastic in your favorite neon colors as well.
4.5 stitches/6 rows per inch (2.5 cm) measured over a 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) stockinette stitch swatch.

Growing up on a rural Southern Tier dairy farm, my family knew the value of handmade. My mother taught me to knit at an early age, and although I didn't see the value in it then, the enjoyment I received from creating something with my own hands has never left me.

Growing up on a rural Southern Tier dairy farm, my family knew the value of handmade. My mother taught me to knit at an early age, and although I didn't see the value in it then, the enjoyment I received from creating something with my own hands has never left me.
My knitting patterns reflect my traditional, rural upbringing paired with a sense of taste that is becoming more and more liberated with each subsequent design. I notice my color palette becoming more adventurous and while my patterns themselves still follow those uncomplicated traditional lines, I can feel that same sense of adventure tugging at my sleeve and asking me to test new boundaries.
I am always happy to hear from fellow knitters and welcome questions on any of my designs - before or after purchase.
