  • Cast on, knit, purl, cables, increasing, decreasing, cast (bind) off.

Pattern Description:

Phoenicia Capelet is completely seamless. Its cables, eyelets
and knit and purl texture keep the knitting interesting while the short rows add shape to the shoulders. The Garter stitch collar adds contours to the neck and is finished with a large, wooden button. I knitted mine during the Frankenstorm of late October 2012, when we were without power and water for several days, its working title was, "Hurricape Sandy".

Gauge:

14 stitches x 18 rows = 4"/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch
using US 10/6mm knitting needles

Materials:

  • Yarn Fyberspates Scrumptious Chunky (45% Silk/55% Merino), 3.5oz/100g, 131yds/120m. 3 Skeins of # 205 Magenta Or yarn that knits to specified gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • Needles 1 pair US 10/6mm knitting needles
  • Other Tools Needed Cable Needle Tapestry/Darning Needle 1 1 1/2"/4cm Diameter Button
