Inspiration for Pfeiffer Falls came when I was thinking about what my mother would have wanted to keep her warm when she was ill. The result is a classic, but modern multi-functional scarf with a large billowy, rounded hood. Two large, deep pockets add style and offer a great place to store a few trinkets, and keep your hands warm in chilly weather as well.
Pfeiffer Falls comes in 3 sizes, includes instructions for optional ruffles that flank the scarf ends and along the hood rim.
Pfeiffer Falls was originally published in Interweave Knits, Winter 2008. This was my #1 selling pattern for a long time. It's still a very popular pattern at #2. (In case you're curious, my current #1 seller is Weekend Shawl - http://craftydiversions.com/patterns/weekend%20shawl.htm)

While knitting is my dominant craft now, I've always been a crafter and sewer. I used to make my own clothes in high school and made jewelry. Two years ago, I got a bit into silversmithing as well.
I'm CraftyDiversions on Ravelry and I also have a Crafty Diversions Facebook fan page. You can get my hardcopy patterns from your local yarn stores. My digital patterns can be found on Craftsy, Ravelry and my own website (where I have a few patterns that I don't sell anywhere else). www.craftydiversions.com
