Martha Johnson lives with her husband in a tiny house with a big garden on Cape Cod. In between growing things, cooking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors, she knits.
Growing up in a very creative home filled with many items handmade with love, it was inevitable that she ended up in a career in the arts. After over 25 years in the technical field of engineering, she decided a change was in order and combined her love of natural fibers and knitting into a creative business designing, knitting and selling fun and fashionable hats for babies and young children.
Martha finds inspiration all around her in her seaside home. The ocean, wildlife, flowers, and even summer tourists provide her with infinite design possibilities. She has developed her own signature style which includes natural fiber yarns, fanciful 3D add-ons and tons of texture.
Martha's work has been featured in international knitting magazines and numerous online blogs. Her patterns are carried in select knitting shops throughout the U.S. as well as on Ravelry.com and here on Craftsy.
